xavelle-openwork-ceramic-pendant-light-brass-three-widths-comvilo
Xavelle Openwork Ceramic Pendant Light

A handmade ceramic pendant with an openwork shade in matt white glaze, hung on brown silk cord from brass fittings, in three shallow widths. Widths run ∅ 5.9″, ∅ 7.5″ and ∅ 10.2″ on a 59″ adjustable cable, and it takes an E26 or E27 LED or Edison bulb.

Every ceramic part is made by hand. The shade is woven and carved, then given a matt white glaze, and the electrical joints are closed and glazed over in the same white so nothing metallic interrupts the surface. The flex is a brown silk weave rather than plain cable.

Openwork means the shade is not a solid bowl. Some of the light leaves through the pattern instead of only dropping from the open end, which is why the piece reads as a lit object and not just as a source above a table.

Three widths are offered and all of them are shallow. The middle one measures 7.5 inches across and 5.5 inches deep. The small is 5.9 inches across and 3.9 inches deep. The wide one spans 10.2 inches at that same 3.9 inch depth, so it covers more of the surface below without hanging further into the room.

It hardwires to a ceiling box on a 59 inch adjustable cable and takes an E26 or E27 bulb, LED or Edison. A common wall switch runs it, and that switch is not included. The rating is IP 20 for indoor rooms on AC 110-240V.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1022/8354/2897/files/hf_20260902_180050_07a3ef84-996d-452c-9097-213b8d297642.png?v=1788391558
